Playing the piano isn’t easy, and if it were we’d all be doing it. Learning the basics of playing a piano isn’t really all that hard if you will focus, but playing well is difficult and that requires a tremendous amount of practice and hard work. It takes dedication, perseverance, and the student must press on. Perhaps you’d like to learn the piano? If so there’s a very good book I’d like to recommend to you;

This is a perfect book for someone who wants to progress their basic music skills in playing the piano, and was selected by the Junior Festivals of the National Federation of Music Clubs and the Music Teachers National Association as the best series of books for playing the piano. This particular volume is the second in the series.
Each selected song in the book helps the progression of skills of piano players young an old as they work to perfect and master the art. The book also has songs that help the learner sing while playing thus, helping to embed the melodies into their memory, and help them learn combinations of key strokes, while honing their dexterity skills and abilities. There are also practice plans in the book, along with special notes to help the user as they try new things and harder to play chords.
The user will learn about broken chords, minor chords, major chords and chord sequencing, important components for mastering the piano. They will learn about sharps, naturals, and flats, and how to bring it all together. If you are a music teacher there are also homework considerations and suggestions too. If the student it still learning to write the music and read it, there are practice sessions to help them do that too. They will learn how to pulse-hold, and work with chord patterns and intervals.
Everything in the book is step-by-step, and if the student gets lost, they can go back and try again, and enjoy singing and playing until they get it right. With just a little instruction and this work along workbook, a student can teach themselves as they go, with relatively little help.
In my view this inexpensive series is the right way to go, even if you are someone who likes to play it by ear, and has learned up until now through trial and error. This series will help you get it right and learn much faster than ever before. Please consider all this and think on it.
