BETTINA “BETTY” (FRY) KELLY, 104, of Fort Wayne, handed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at the dwelling of her daughter in Naperville, Unwell., in which she experienced lived for the past five yrs. Born Aug. 6, 1916, in Indianapolis, Ind., Betty was the daughter of the late James E. and Margaret I. (Wilson) Fry. Betty attended Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., where she also labored element-time at the university’s medical bookstore. On moving to Fort Wayne, Betty labored at Wolf & Dessauer office shop as a buyer in Notions, Blouses, Closet and Art Needle Function departments, touring to New York usually by train. She achieved and married her partner, Robert Terrence Kelly Sr., although functioning there in 1954. Betty remained a homemaker until eventually her little ones were in large faculty. She begun again in the workforce as a bookkeeper at Mr. Wiggs department keep in Fort Wayne. She also labored at King’s office store in New Haven, Ind., as a cashier / head cashier, as a supervisor of their jewelry section, and as a district jewelry manager overseeing the buying and exhibiting of jewellery items in different stores in Indiana and Ohio ahead of retiring. Betty was a strong, impartial, and tenacious person. She savored getting outdoor, watching wildlife and was a massive animal lover. She liked to dance and was usually searching for a dance husband or wife. Some of her most loved pastimes involved operating crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, participating in solitaire, reading through, and spending time with family members members. Betty experienced a lovable, but ornery perception of humor that prompted many laughable times amid family and close friends. She will be extremely substantially missed by all. Betty is survived by her four young children: sons, Jerry (Sandy) Hoffmann of Fort Wayne and Robert Terrence “Terry” Kelly Jr. of New Haven daughters, Cheryl Kelly-Brown of Fort Wayne and Jill Kelly (Tim) Rinker of Naperville, Sick. In addition, Betty has 9 grandchildren, James (Lavina), Alicia and Mark Hoffmann, Robert “Rob” Kelly III, Danielle S. Kelly, Jon D., Dustyn S., Treven R. (Stefanie) and Landon K. (Kristen) Brown and 11 excellent-grandchildren, Emma, Liam and Adelynn Hoffmann, Robert “Robbie” Kelly IV, Caiden Fulk, Dalton, Ethan, McKenna, Hope, Caris and Ryder Brown. Betty is also survived by her cousin, Julie (Doug) Benefiel of Indianapolis and a former son-in-law, Ivan F. Brown Jr. of Fort Wayne. Betty was preceded in dying by her mother father sister, Mona Mercedes (Fry) O’Neal her initially husband, Clifford E. Hoffmann and her second spouse, Robert Terrence Kelly Sr. A celebration of Betty’s daily life will be prepared and announced at a later on day.
