“This is a momentous occasion for Crimson Clay Dance Business and our Artistic Director & CEO, Vershawn Sanders-Ward. The pandemic influenced our lives, our business and communities and Red Clay Dance Company was not exempt.
Losing our dance home at the Chicago Park District through COVID-19 was devastating. But it did not halt Vershawn from relocating forward. The untiring inspiration to supply a residence for Purple Clay Dance Enterprise and Academy led Vershawn to do something numerous would not have finished and that was to develop a different space in the course of a time that was dire.
Certainly, it was not straightforward but it was worth it. Now our students have a house for their dance courses and academics, personnel, and dancers can proceed to work and grasp their craft.
When a person doorway closes an additional a person will open up. I am so happy to be a aspect of this event,” mentioned Catrina Franklin Board Chair
